Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas Network

Nection is managed by Padrosa Management, which offers high-security, fully serviced truck parking areas. Nection is a company of the Padrosa Group, a leader in the logistics and transportation services industry with over 100 years of experience.

Nection was founded with the aim of responding to the growing demand for secure parking for heavy vehicles, while providing cutting-edge services to ensure adequate working conditions and address the well-being of truck drivers.

Mission

Our goal is to improve the transportation sector by ensuring the safety of goods and improving the working conditions of carriers.

Vision

Build the first major pan-European network of Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas by 2050. Enhance the sector by strategically locating rest areas with premium services and boosting operational efficiency through innovation.

Values

Experience, security, and trust. Our users know that our truck parking network is managed by the owners themselves in a standardized manner, with in-house staff, and with the utmost guarantees and efficiency.

Safety and services for drivers, vehicles and businesses

Each of Nection’s Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas is designed to meet the needs of both carriers and vehicles, as well as transport companies and cargo owners.

Dignifying transportation means taking care of people

At Nection, we believe that sustainability in transportation isn’t achieved solely through energy efficiency or environmental management. Above all, it’s built by dignifying the living conditions of those who make it possible.

That’s why our priority is the S in ESG: improving driver well-being, raising industry labor standards, and generating a positive impact in the communities where we operate.

Each rest area we develop is designed to offer safety, hygiene, comfort, and peace of mind. It’s also designed to recognize the work of transport professionals, provide them with services designed for their physical and emotional health, and build a European network that supports them in their daily lives.

Our sustainability strategy is based on three pillars:

Society

We design spaces designed for the overall well-being of drivers. We strive for more humane, inclusive, and safe working conditions.

Environment

We implement sustainable solutions to reduce our impact, optimize resource use, and adapt to the challenges of climate change.

Good Government

We act with responsibility, ethics and transparency to consolidate a sustainable and lasting operating model.

Nection doesn’t just connect routes. It connects values. Because caring for transportation means caring for the people who make it possible.

Our commitment to excellence

At Nection, quality, safety, and sustainability are fundamental pillars of our operations.

To demonstrate our firm commitment to these values and offer the utmost confidence in our services, we have obtained various certifications that endorse our standards and practices in all our areas of activity.

Quality Management Systems

ISO 9001: This is the most recognized certification worldwide for quality management systems. It demonstrates that the company has defined processes focused on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency in all its services (parking, restaurant, showers, etc.).

Environmental Management Systems

ISO 14001: Certifies that the company has an environmental management system in place to identify, control, and reduce its environmental impacts. This may include waste management, energy consumption, pollution prevention, and the use of sustainable resources (as in the case of electrical connections for refrigerated vehicles).

Occupational Health and Safety

ISO 45001: Certifies that the company has an occupational health and safety management system to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses and provide safe and healthy workplaces. This is important to protect both employees and drivers who use the facilities.

Food Safety (if you offer restaurant and supermarket services)

ISO 22000: Certifies a food safety management system that covers the entire chain, from the receipt of raw materials to customer service, ensuring food safety.

Energy Management

ISO 50001: Certifies that the company has an energy management system in place to improve its energy efficiency, reduce costs, and reduce its environmental impact. This could be relevant given the company’s offer of electrical connections for refrigerated transport.

Specific Certifications for the Transport and Logistics Sector

TAPA (Transported Asset Protection Association): Offers security certifications for high-value cargo parking and storage facilities, which could be relevant for secure parking and cargo storage.

ADR Certifications (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road)

Although the primary certification is for vehicles and drivers transporting dangerous goods, stations offering ADR parking may obtain certifications or comply with specific regulations that certify the safety and suitability of their facilities for this type of parking (for example, compliance with local regulations on the safe storage of dangerous goods).

Accessibility Certifications

ISO/IEC 17049 (or equivalent national standards): Certify that facilities and services are accessible to people with disabilities, which is important to ensure the inclusion of all users.
