Nection Latisana continues to expand its offering with the opening of a new restaurant that enhances the car park’s food and drink facilities. From tomorrow, 10 April, the well-known Italian concept Station Vi will open its doors to the public.

The new venue will have a total capacity of 240 seats, including 140 indoor seats and 100 outdoor seats, providing a comfortable space adapted to both professional drivers and travelers, as well as welcoming local customers from the surrounding area.

Station Vi’s culinary proposal is based on quality Mediterranean cuisine, with a fixed-price menu of €15 including one starter, one main course, one side dish, and one drink. In addition, the restaurant will offer a wide selection of snacks, as well as a pizzeria service available both at lunchtime and in the evening, making it an attractive option for both quick stops and more relaxed meals.

With extended opening hours designed to meet the needs of the sector, the restaurant will be open 7 days a week, from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, ensuring flexibility for drivers on the road as well as for local visitors.

This opening is part of an ongoing commitment to enhance the experience of professional drivers by providing them with high-quality services tailored to their needs on the road. Simultaneously, it helps create a welcoming and accessible environment that connects the site with the local community.

The NECTION project in Latisana, developed by Truck Parking Network, aims to establish this location as a key transport hub in northern Italy. Through continuous improvements to the infrastructure and the introduction of value-added services such as this new restaurant, the aim is to provide a comprehensive, safe and efficient solution for transport professionals.

The Restaurant ‘t Klaverhuys opens its doors in Moerdijk

On January 2nd, 2026, the ‘t Klaverhuys restaurant will officially open its doors in Moerdijk, thus reinforcing its service offering in a strategic location next to the A16 and A17 logistics arteries, which connect the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp.

The restaurant, which caters to both the general public and road transport professionals, will also operate under the name Truck-Inn A16, a name specifically aimed at truckers who travel daily through this important European transport zone.

The opening of ‘t Klaverhuys is an important step in the development of Truck Parking Network’s Moerdijk project, which aims to create high-quality services and spaces that improve the rest, service, and well-being of professional drivers, while integrating them into the local environment.
The restaurant offers a menu tailored to the needs of all users, with convenient opening hours, accessibility for heavy vehicles, and a comfortable atmosphere for both short stays and longer breaks.

The truck parking facility will be operational from the second quarter of 2026 and will be managed by Truck Parking Network. It forms part of the ecosystem of services designed for the development of the Moerdijk region.

With this opening, Moerdijk reinforces its role as a benchmark in international logistics by combining infrastructure, hospitality and services aimed at improving the driver experience and increasing the efficiency of road transport.

Il Logístico dell’Anno 2025 Award

We are pleased to share that Kontractor by Kopron – General Contractor and TP Network have been awarded the “Il Logístico dell’Anno 2025” prize for the NECTION by Truck Parking Network project. The award was in the “Innovation in the ESG field” category.

Nection is much more than a parking lot: it is a monitored parking lot for heavy vehicles, designed under the European SSTPA standards – GOLD level, with parking and services designed for the hauler.

This recognition, awarded by ASSOLOGISTICA and Euromerci, reinforces our commitment to solutions that combine safety, sustainability and efficiency in the logistics chain.

This project has been supported by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program, which promotes key infrastructures for the integration of the European single market.

Nection Latisana, new opening

Nection Latisana is a new secure truck parking area (SSTPA) located in a strategic industrial area in north-eastern Italy. The project is part of a European network of secure and comfortable parking areas for international transport and is currently under development. It is certified at Gold level, complying with European quality and safety standards for secure parking areas.

Through the CEF project – Development of a Secure Truck Parking Area in Latisana, a new Secure Truck Parking Area (SSTPA) has been built in Ronchis (Latisana), Italy, strategically located in the TEN-T Mediterranean and Baltic-Adriatic corridors, along the A4 motorway, near Palmanova, a key logistics hub connecting northeast Italy with Slovenia and the Balkans.

NECTION Latisana offers 301 parking spaces for heavy goods vehicles, along with modern service facilities and utilities designed to improve driver well-being and operational reliability.

NECTION Latisana has successfully passed the official audit and meets the EU requirements for Gold Level SSTPA certification, in accordance with Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1012.

By addressing the current shortage of secure truck parking in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, this project contributes to improving road safety, reducing congestion, and strengthening the resilience of the freight transport system.

This initiative is part of the first phase of a Global Project to develop a pan-European network of 48 certified SSTPAs in Italy, Slovenia, Spain, France and the Netherlands, supporting a safer and more efficient European mobility framework.
